Aldbrough Parish Council aims to represent parishioners with regard to any aspect of living in the parish. If we cannot resolve issues ourselves we hope to guide residents towards the relevant bodies or pursue them with the people who have greater control.
The earliest records of Aldbrough Parish Council are dated 1681 although its present form was constituted in 1935. The council presently consists of 9 councillors and a part-time parish clerk.
As you are aware Parish Councillors do not receive any form of remuneration - it is purely a voluntary undertaking.
Please contact the Parish Council with any concerns about local issues - this could be repair work needed to street lights, holes in the roads, planning issues etc.
If we can't provide an instant answer we can usually find someone to help with any concerns you may have.
