Part of the: -
‘East Yorkshire Federation of Women’s Institutes’
The W.I. of today is the largest voluntary women's organisations in the U.K.
We play a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities, and to campaign
on issues that matter to them and their communities.
Our meetings involve:-
'Listening to a speaker or watching a demonstration,
chatting to other members over refreshments,
or going on a social/educational visit.
Whether you be crafty, sporty or public affairsy, we host
lots of interesting activities in which you can take part'
(Margaret Kirby: Yorkshire East Federation Chair)
We would love to meet you, and you are most welcome to come
along to one of our meeting’s and see what we are all about.
