Aldbrough is a parish of great rural charm. - from the dynamic cliffs in the east to the peaceful tranquillity of the lanes and footpaths to the west. The village is steeped in history with many unaltered buildings and has a lively community spirit. Being only 12 miles from the city centre of Hull and between the holiday resorts of Withernsea and Hornsea, it is fortunate to have easy access to some great recreational and cultural amenities. The 2,213 hectare parish has a primary school, 3 pubs, a hotel and guest house, a village hall & sports centre, a youth club, 3 shops & post office and about 4Km of rapidly eroding coastline!
